Palomino Motel

Don’t judge a book by its cover. That being said the Palomino Motel looks a rough from the outside, but the rooms tell a different story. The owner (Sam) has been renovating every room and he’s doing a great job. He is also very accommodating with your wishes and tries to please everyone. The rooms are cozy and relaxing with a home feel. Thanks Sam you’ll see us soon. BTW, Sam has a great smile!

Haunting experience! Clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Room 115 was very large. It's dated but the really fun time is experiencing the permanent resident. "Bugs" Bunny must not have made it to Albuquerque as he seems to like the heat turned on. You'll have to experience it yourselves. I don't believe in haunting but this is as close as I've ever experienced. Fun time! See Kronixx C's pictures of the room.

A great place to stop for the night.super clean room, shower was awesome and one of the top palomino motel . We have stay at palomino motel twice now within 2 month time and come back too here.

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming, family-run motel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. It's clear that the owners put a lot of care and pride into every detail. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and incredibly clean, with all the essentials we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were great, the linens fresh, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect (a small thing, but such a nice touch!). What really stood out, though, was the personal touch. It's rare to find that kind of personal attention these days. If you're looking for a quiet, affordable, and welcoming place to stay that feels more like visiting friends than staying at a chain hotel, this is the place. We'll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

The lady at the front desk was very nice! The bed was very comfy and overall very accommodating, and allowed our two cats. My only complaint is the rest of the room was quite dirty, we didn’t walk on the floor barefoot. One of the face towels had what I can only hope was beard trimmings on it. Overall for the price and the fact they allow pets, I would come here again but it could definitely be cleaner.

I'd like to give it a 4.5 star. The room could have been a little cleaner. But what I loved about it was how quiet it was. My dog and I stayed in the first room next to the road, we were not disturbed by road noise, or the people next door. I was worried that my dog would wake up, bark at every noise and disturb other customers sleep. It was so quiet he slept through the night. Customer relations were very good. The desk clerk worked hard to hear my initial concerns and provided a very restful night. I thought it was economically priced. If I get locked out of Storrie Lake State Park again, I'll be happy to stay there again

Rooms were very clean and room very comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly understanding. Had to check out late cause was just moving slow and totally understood.

Palomino motel is really really great hotel super and staff is very helpful and friendly .The room is very clean and confortable.and room rate is also great and i surely come back to this motel

It's my favorite motel anywhere. Everything about it is good. They clean it very thoroughly. It has a huge screen TV with the modern options to watch innumerable things. The other guests are quiet at night. Nice refrigerator, bathtub etc.

I booked this place somewhat last minute. Arrived late at night with my kids. Check-in was very easy less than 5minutes. Parking was conveniently available right in front of the room. The room it self wasn't terrible. Large room, fridge, microwave. Its updated, but with that landlord special. The beds and bedding were clean no worries there. Comfortable beds too. My girls and I felt safe at night. Check-out also was a breeze. Just left the key in the room and let managment know I was checking out. All in all would stay again.
